Mr. Terrance Veals. Recognized Globally as a successful technical project manager, business analyst, and sales engineer, who has made a name for himself in the technology industry. However, his journey started on the, west Chicago, where he was born. Tragically, when Terrance was only three years old, he lost his mother to cancer. Despite this, he was raised by a supportive family that included his father, grandmother, and two older brothers. Growing up in a neighborhood filled with gun violence, drugs, and gangs was not easy especially with the tragic loss of three friends to gun violence, but Terrance overcame the obstacles and excelled academically at Crane High School.
 

With an Academic scholarship to  Ball State, Terrance continued to make a difference. He participated in the Unity Scholarship Pageant and was crowned "Mr. Unity" as a freshman, the first freshman to do so. He became heavily involved in the Black Student Association, where he served as both the Social Chair and President. Under his leadership, the organization won the highest homecoming honor “Ashley Award”  and had the most students attend a single meeting in 2010. In Fall 2011 Terrance became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. “Theta Xi Chapter”. He was a resident assistant in Lafollette Hall for 2 years and often made the Dean's List.

 

After graduating from Ball State University with a degree in Information Systems from the Miller College of Business, Terrance started his career in the technology industry. He has held various roles, including IT Director at The Halo App and Technical Account Manager at Google. In 2022 his work was recognized globally by Google. He is a Digital thought leader, with some notable technology clients, such as Sony, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Eli Lilly, AirForce, Army, and the White House.

 

Terrance's success can be attributed to his desire to help people achieve their goals. He believes that technology is the means by which he can make it happen, and the satisfaction of knowing he has helped a friend, family member, or client reach their goals quickly and efficiently through technology is what motivates him every single day.
